Next to our collection of coins and banknotes, the Money Museum also has a permanent exhibition of art. This collection consists of artwork by among others Puig, K-Cho and Salazar and the local artists Jean Girigori, Ellen Spijkstra and Nel Simon.

Make a reservation for a guided tour through the museum by calling (5999) 434-5573.

The guided tour takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour and is available for groups with a maximum of 20 persons.

Opening hours:

Monday – Friday: 8.30 till 11.30 and 12:30 till 16:00
The museum is closed on Saturdays and Sundays and on official holidays.

Visiting the museum is free of charge.

 

 

The museum offers guided tours for scholars. Also the museum offers the possibility for scholars to work on the school papers about money and related topics, by offering them a workplace, computer and internet access and all necessary documentation on the above mentioned topics.

The museum also offers a so-called ‘spreekbeurtpakket’ with information and illustrations for scholars to prepare their discussion paper to be presented at school.
 

All is free of charge.

 

 

The museum library is located within the museum. It offers a wide variety of books, brochures, magazines on numismatic topics, as well as catalogues.

The library is open for visitors on Monday through Friday from 8:30 – 11:30 and from 12:30 – 16:00.
